Interiors Photographer in London portfolio photograph 16 – one of a series of interiors photographs taken Lyons Demense, Ireland for luxury flooring design and installation company’s Trunk Flooring and Porsha Stone.
This photograph, taken to show detail in the both the wall and floor, was lit with a mix of ambient daylight coming from the right (creating highlights and showed depth in the details), Calumet flash light (to fill the shadows) and Westcott reflectors to soften any shadows created by the flashlight on the mahogany door. Emphasis was made on the use of a simple lighting setup to allow the materials and the workmanship in this interiors photography speak for itself.
